M&M’s and Cinema have gone hand in hand for decades, however, with cinema’s retail offering becoming more important commercially for chains such as Vue Cinemas, new refreshing ways for customers to experience products are important to drive sales, cue the M&M’s colorworks machine.
Frequenters of M&M’s world destination will know the concept well, but with footfall and human traffic so high in cinema foyers, there was a need to educate & refresh customers on how the machine works, by creating a suite of engaging, memorable & educational videos.

As the lead designer and animator, I collaborated with the Mars Wrigley team, producing animations for various screens, including standalone units and multi-screen takeovers.
Results:
Following a successful trial at select Vue Cinemas, the initiative expanded, leading to additional Colorworks installations across various sites. This further strengthened the partnership between Mars Wrigley and Vue Cinemas, paving the way for continued successful collaborations.
