Since 1994, Chicken Cottage has been a prominent chicken shop in the UK, known for its affordable prices and expansive franchise. Recently re-branded, the aim was to enhance customer experience by revamping in-store menus and digital signage across all UK locations.

Key Challenges:

  • Reinforce new branding.

  • Showcase all food combinations.

  • Highlight deals and popular items.

  • Ensure readability and engagement.

  • Facilitate easy rollout across franchises.

Leading the initiative, I collaborated with Chicken Cottage's marketing team to grasp their requirements, emphasizing spotlighting their top products. Given varying site-specific pricing within the franchise, we integrated dynamic pricing from spreadsheets directly into the designs, ensuring easy and error-free updates.

Results:

The redesigned menus bolstered Chicken Cottage's UK franchise expansion by refining the in-store experience and presenting offerings clearly. Additionally, the menus gained exposure on the 2023 episode of Chicken Shop Date featuring Keke Palmer, amassing 3.2 million views.
