Whilst working full time as an employee of Saturn Visual Solutions, I had the pleasure of working with Scott Cinemas on a pre-show cinema ident. The advert would be used to deliver important information about the etiquette of cinema auditoriums but also to entice the audience back to the foyer before the film starts to visit the concessions area and purchase food and drinks.

I worked as the motion graphics artist creating a volumetric lighting effect which enables light to pass through various animated icons and text. All of the effects are created within After Effects, using some 3rd party plug-ins such as Element 3D and Particular. I also worked as the sound designer for the project mixing the sound effects, music and voice over. I mixed down the final output to be both stereo and 5.1.

The final film was distributed to each Scott Cinema site as a digital cinema package and is shown before every feature film at Scott Cinemas across the UK as well as being used on the cinema's social channels to promote their brand.
